Where does the life coaching take place?
Life coaching can either take place face to face, over the phone or by email.
Some people prefer being coached face to face and this can take place at a venue agreed upon by the coach and client.
Over the phone coaching is very convenient for the client, removing the location barrier and enabling the client to remain in the comfort of their own home. 90% of coaching takes place in this way. Although the client would normally call the coach and bear the costs of the phone call, I have the facility for free calls within the UK and am therefore able to call the client.
Coaching by email is again convenient for the client but naturally is not as immediate as talking to someone over the phone. However, if the client has facilities to log on to either Skype or MSN, then an online ‘chat’ can be arranged.
